Boonshoft Prides mission is to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual) people by promoting awareness, providing education, and establishing an identifiable network of allies. This organization aims to extend our medical education to encompass health-related LGBTQIA topics through talks, panels, and community outreach.

At Inclusive Fairborn, we believe it’s our social responsibility to care for one another. We’re neighbors supporting neighbors. We meet urgent needs by fulfilling mutual aid requests—whether that’s helping with rent and utility bills, sharing groceries and baby items, or providing whatever else someone might need to get by. We also host monthly food distributions, put on Fairborn Pride, and hold community events to build inclusion and solidarity right here. We’ve served over 1,500 community members since 2020. This year alone, we’ve stopped evictions, cleared utility debt, and provided groceries and essentials to keep families stable. Our work is about meeting people’s immediate needs while we build a Fairborn where everyone has the tools to thrive. We’re building a just and inclusive future, together.

Point of Pride provides financial aid and direct support to trans folks in need of health and wellness care. They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Eugene, Oregon that serves the international transgender community. GEM Project Dayton is dedicated to fighting suicide in the Dayton area. GEM stands for Goal: Everyone Matters, and our current focus is to curb youth suicide through peer-to-peer education and support. The DTA is an international collaboration among dozens of colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, public libraries, and private collections. By digitally localizing a wide range of trans-related materials, the DTA expands access to trans history for academics and independent researchers alike in order to foster education and dialog concerning trans history. The purpose of the Digital Transgender Archive (DTA) is to increase the accessibility of transgender history by providing an online hub for digitized historical materials, born-digital materials, and information on archival holdings throughout the world.

ST RT 49, Greenville, OH 45331. It’s a place in Darke County for LGBTQ+ people and allies to feel safe, welcome and at ease being their authentic selves. Where people can find inspiration, community and feel at home. At the Center, you can connect with community, make a friend, work on a puzzle with someone else or on your own, play a game, read a book, or just have a cup of coffee.

Extending the Branch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Bellefontaine, Ohio, dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies through education, representation, and support. Founded in early 2022 in Logan County, the organization offers support groups, educational classes, and community outreach, including connections to LGBTQIA+-friendly resources and health clinic days. They also organize larger inclusive gatherings, such as the Bellefontaine PrideFest, to provide safe spaces for community members.

Transform Electrolysis in Dayton, Ohio, is operated by Cassandra Keil, a CT/Electrologist who provides medical-grade permanent hair removal. She received her training at the Ohio Medical Electrolysis Institute under experienced practitioners Jo Melching and Stacie Moore. The service is FDA-approved for permanent hair removal and is effective for all skin types, hair colors, and body areas. Transform Electrolysis specifically aims to assist various groups, including individuals with PCOS, post-menopausal women, men seeking simplified grooming, and members of the transgender community.

The Vocal Congruence Project (VCP) is a collection of free resources to help people find vocal congruence — the sense that their voice and speech accurately reflect who they are. This has a proven positive impact on mental wellbeing. VCP is a collaboration between voice-specialized speech-language pathologists Nora Mahon, MS, CCC-SLP and Leah B. Helou, PhD, CCC-SLP. Based in lived and professional experience, VCP was created for the transgender and gender diverse community, but can support anyone.
